Annual Netball Competition vs Fairlands

Mrs. Scott and myself travelled to Cheddar for our annual netball competition against Fairlands.
All four year groups were represented. It was particularly exciting for our year fives to travel to an away fixture..
The key stage two teams played first. Year five have been training Wednesday lunch time. This showed as their skills were very obvious. Some great play from all the team who went onto win
4-0 The year six team also played well and under their coach Mrs.Scott performed with confidence and flair. They also won . The score was 7-3
Year seven and eight have been working hard on a Wednesday night and I was most impressed  with the calm approach the year seven . Beautiful controlled play with some accurate shooting meant the final score was 14-1 in Hugh Sexey's favour. The year eights were looking forward to this as many of the players are friend with the Fairlands girls out of school.
A rather physical game ( the influence of girls rugby creeping in.)
The final score was 5-7 Fairlands.

A very enjoyable tournament.
