First Schools Netball Festival - Thursday 15th March 2018

On Thursday we hosted the First Schools' Netball Festival at Hugh Sexey's, where the local schools participated in a netball tournament. 

Weare, Wedmore, Mark, East Brent, and Lympsham all had 5 games against each other in a round robin tournament.  I have to say all the teams played really well, the level of skills and team work shown on the day was superb. This was by far the best Netball Festival I have seen!

A massive thank you to Mrs Allen and the Year 8 sports leaders for running the festival: umpiring the games, collecting scores, and co-ordinating the games.  As always they all did a fantastic job and everything ran very smoothly.
