Netball Match Report: HSMS vs Fairlands
Four teams travelled to Fairlands Middle school to play netball.
There was a team from each year group. For many of our key stage two pupils this was their first experience of an away fixture.
Each team played with a high level of motivation and good teamwork skills were displayed throughout.
The year five accompanied by their coach Mrs. Callow displayed great maturity and there was some excellent performances. The team won 14-1 .
Year six also played well and were able to demonstrate a high level of skill. This year group have been very motivated throughout training with large numbers regularly attending lunch time club. This team won 17-1 .
Year seven had a closely fought match with the flow of the game going both ways.
The year seven team eventually won 7-5.
Year eight played a hard match. The Fairlands team displayed very accurate shooting but the Hugh Sexey team never gave up. The two teams will be a very strong force when many combine next year in year nine. The year eight team lost 25-9.
A great afternoon of netball. Well played to all the teams and to the other girls who have regularly attended netball clubs.
