Swimming Success

 Jemima, 7KS, recently entered a swimming gala held in Weston- super-Mare and was awarded a number of medals for her swimming.  She came:

2nd in the 50m freestyle (front crawl)

3rd in the 50m backstroke

5th in the 100m breaststroke and 6th in the 50m breaststroke.

In a more recent competition held in Weston Jemima came 1st in 50m crawl, 4th in 50m backstroke and 6th in the individual medley; fantastic swimming Jemima.

Jemima has been swimming competitively since she was 9; first for the City of Bristol and, since the family moved to the Cheddar Valley, for Cheddar Kingfishers.  Jemima trains hard with the club.  She swims 5 days a week, and on 2 of these days she swims for 2 hours before coming to school!
