Year 8 Boys' Rugby vs Mark College

For the first time in a long time we managed to get a local fixture against neighbours Mark College. It was agreed to play 7- a- side rugby.

Mark College came to Hugh Sexey's on a lovely afternoon and the boys were all so excited to play rugby. Hugh Sexey gave debuts to a lot of boys who were rewarded with the opportunity to play for their school.

It was a great afternoon of rugby, and both schools should be very proud of their pupils; the game was played with great sportsmanship, and  was a delight to watch. A large crowd came to watch the game which was lovely.

Hugh Sexey's won the game with quick hands and passing into spaces. Considering most of these lads do not play club rugby, they all did fantastically well.

Well done lads, hopefully we can repeat this fixture again soon, as Mark College are keen to play again.
