First School Athletics @ HSMS

It was a beautiful , sunny evening for athletics. 

Each of the first schools sent 8 athletes to this event. 

Our keen year 8 athletes helped run this festival, organised this time by our head of faculty , Mr. McGrath. 

They took part in 200m, 60m, 600m and relay . Also the turbo javelin , the standing long jump and the standing high jump. There was also a fun speed jump event which all pupils joined in with. 

The overall winners were Wedmore today. Thanks to all for their support and enthusiasm .
