The year eight sports leaders had their final festival yesterday and it was a good one.
Every first school brought a combination of year three and fours.
After lunch and a quick warm-up game of tag, the pupils went onto experience a myriad of some of the skills and activities they will experience when they come to Hugh Sexey: tug of war, parachute games, kicking rounders, football shooting , obstacles , rugby tackling; two leaders even brought their own music in to lead a Zumba class.
It was such a good all-round experience for both our pupils and our visitors.
The sun was kind and a thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our sports leaders- they have been a lovely , inspiring group to work with and I hope they will treasure their memories as they move onwards in their education .
