Year 5 & 6 Swim Galas

The Year 5 Swim Gala was a wonderful event with a large number of pupils taking part. Maddox broke a 23 year old record set by Michael Harris in the 1 length front crawl with a time of 15.05. Harlie broke Katie Radford record from 2017 in the 2 length breastroke with a time of 49.30. Saxons finished in 1st place. Followed by Vikings, Normans and Celts. It was great to see so many enjoying the pool and House competitions. Well done all involved and huge thanks to all the sport leaders and teaching staff who helped.

The Year 6 Swim Gala was a truly wonderful event and an absolute pleasure to be a part of. The level of swimming was very high with strong swims from Harrison, Gabrielle and William to name a few. What was really pleasing was the number of swimmers who took part who in the past haven't engaged in school competition or shown confidence in the water. It was so pleasing to see so many enjoying the event. The Vikings finished in first place, followed by Saxons, Normans and Celts.
