Negative sentences

NEGATIVE SENTENCES say what you DON’T do.

In English they always include the word NOT, e.g. is not, do not, has not…

In French, you need the words NE and PAS on either side of the verb.

1. Circle the verb in each sentence. 
2. Make the sentences negative by adding NE and PAS on either side of the verb.

Remember, ne changes to n’ before a vowel!

1. Je mange une pizza.              >> Je ne mange pas une pizza
