Effective Home – School Communication

We have a convenient new way to share important school information with you about your child’s school life; you will be able to access our new parent app.

You can access the system from a smartphone, tablet or PC – anytime, anywhere.

What will you find in the ClassCharts Parent app:

• Important information such as attendance, behaviour and homework.
• If you have more than one child at school, you’ll have access to information for all your children, from the same app. 

The information that you receive through the app will help you to stay up to date with your child’s school life as well as support your child’s development and progress.

 
Getting started with the ClassCharts Parent app
 
1. An invitation email,directly from ClassCharts, will be sent to the email address you have registered with our school. (Please check junk and spam folders if the email does not appear in your inbox.  The invitation will contain your login instructions.  If you already have a child at another school on ClassCharts, you can use the code provided to add your HSMS child to your account. 

If you experience any difficulty please contact the school on school@hughsexey.org.uk or via the ClassCharts helpdesk who will work to resolve the issues.

All pupils will learn how to access their pupil ClassCharts profile in their computing lessons in the first weeks of a new term. 

• For new starters in transition Year 4, you will be sent your invitation upon joining the school in September.
• For all new in-year starters, the invitation will be sent on your childs first day in school. 

Please note that your invitation email is unique to you and should not be used by anyone else. If you require an additional login then please contact your school.
