LES OBJETS DANS LA CLASSE

Are you 'bien organisé' - well organised?

This topic is all about school, and this week we are learning the names of classroom objects. Make sure you have everything you need for KS3! 

TASK 1:

Qu'est-ce que c'est? What is it?

Click on the recordings to hear the names of the objects.

Repeat what you hear out loud.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est un stylo.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est un crayon.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est une gomme.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est une règle.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est un bâton de colle.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est une trousse.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est un taille-crayon.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est un cahier.

Qu'est-ce que c'est? Ce sont des ciseaux.

TASK 2:

Choose from the activities below to practise the objects:

• See if you can find all these objects at home, and practise saying their names by heart.
• You could lay the objects out and make a label for each one in French (I'd love to see a photo of this!)
• You could teach them to someone else.
• Ask someone to hide one or more objects at a time and you have to guess which object is missing – in French!
• Ask someone to play one of the recordings and you have to pick up the right object.
• Make a checklist in French to use when you get ready for going back to school!
