DT WOW Work

Libby has been busy developing her technical baking skills. Take a look at some of her very creative food products.

Ruby has baked a fantastic chocolate sponge cake with chocolate buttercream. She has decorated her cake with a shortbread fence topped with chocolate and a fondant pig. Ruby has entered this wonderful cake into a junior bake off competition to raise money for Marie Curie. Well done

William has demonstrated excellent skill in completing the rubbing-in technique to make blueberry scones! Well done

Libby. H has baked a very delicious chocolate orange cake!

Have a look at Phoebe's AMAZING farm cake that is also gluten free! Excellent moulding of fondant pig, piglet, cow and calf!

Libby.H has been further developing her food preparation and cooking skills by making Spaghetti Bolognese for her family. It looks very appetising!

Ffion.L has baked a beautiful Victoria Sponge cake with rhubarb jam. Delicious!

Libby has baked a lovely batch of vanilla cupcakes which have been beautifully decorated with lemon icing. Great combination of flavours, well done!

Iona's planet carrot cupcakes look AMAZING! It's brilliant to see she has found a creative way of combining science with cooking to show the different phases of the moon along with excellent piping of buttercream icing.

Sophia. S lemon meringue sandwiches with lemon curd look AMAZING! Well done for making both from scratch.

Olivia.F has baked a lovely batch of glitter star cakes. Fantastic first attempt at piping!
