LES ACTIVITÉS (VERBES à L'INFINITIF) - Verbs in the infinitive

L'OBJECTIF: I can use INFINITIVE VERBS to talk about which activities I like to do on holiday.

 

TASK 1: Watch the video. Learn the activities as you go - write them down, or make some cards to practise them.

TASK 2:

Here are all the verbs again. Can you add the words underneath to the correct verb?

We can add these phrases to our writing frame to make sentences.

 

 

 

TASK 3: Écrivez

 

  1. I would like to visit Italy or France because I love eating pizza.
  2. I wouldn't like to visit Canada because I prefer to meet my friends and go surfing, it's cool.
  3. I am going to visit the USA but I am not going to go shopping because it is boring. I am going to go to the beach where I love playing volleyball.
  4. I am not going to visit France, but I would like to visit Canada because I prefer going to the cinema and eating a hamburger.

 Remember, you can also use phrases you have already learned, alongside this frame!

 

  5. I would like to visit Germany, because I love the scenery, and the culture, but I am going to visit Switzerland because you can go to the mountains, and I am going to go skiing. It is really exciting.

 

CHALLENGE: Write the longest sentence you can, using this writing frame, and any previous ones, not forgetting to add conjunctions, intensifiers and adjectives!
