Book Fair Success

Hugh Sexey Middle School once again welcomed the Scholastic Book Fair last week.  Pupils were able to visit the fair during their library lessons as well as break time and all through the lunch hour.  This year's offerings were wonderful with familiar authors like David Walliams and Liz Pichon amongst exciting new titles from Sophie Anderson and Lisa Leuddecke.  There were books about football and gaming, books for little brothers and sisters and we even had a couple of advent calendars.  With tremendous support from our parents and carers we managed to sell £1711.02 which equates to over £500 in rewards to spend with Scholastic. Many thanks to all who attended and supported.
