Hockey Development day at Millfield

The Hockey development day was a great experience for the boys as they got to play against 6 other schools across Somerset. The Under 13s boys were all incredible and played with a great attitude this made the day an absolute pleasure. Team Captain Michael did a superb job throughout. He led from the front but also empowered those around him and ensured all players were well prepared and involved.. This was a non-competitive event but the games were inevitably played with great intent and passion. The backdrop of Millfields wonderful facilities proved to really encourage our pupils and helped contribute to an enjoyable and enriching experience. Not one person put a foot wrong the whole day, there was fantastic performances from all: Captain Michael, Henry, Harry and Alex proving to be deadly goal scorers. Defence was solid with Cam and Oliver. Daniel contributed to goals and it seemed as though Ted was running all day! Last but by no means least is Tom, who only conceding two goals in the whole day! The Boys won 5 and drew 1 – even though it was just for fun! Thank you to all the schools and Hailey at SASP who organised the event.
