Event/Activity:  Music Competition

The Mendip Rotary Club young musician ‘Cheddars Got Talent’ competition was launched in September by Maggie Steele who visited school. 

Many of our pupils across the year groups were soon very busy practising for auditions.  During the auditions, visiting judge John Maunders and myself were thoroughly entertained and very impressed with the high standard of musicianship from the entries.

On Friday 27 November the final took place at Kings Of Wessex Academy.  Our four finalists:  Johanna, Amelia, Marishelle and Lucy impressed the panel of judges and audience members with their perfected performances.  After 15 minutes of deliberation the judges announced the winner, Marishelle!
