Local Author visits Year 7

On Tuesday 30 January, year 7 pupils were treated to a visit from local author Michael Malaghan.    His new book, called French Tapestry, journeys into the story of the Normal Conquest and the Bayeux Trapestry, and explores the  mystery of the 'missing piece'.  This fiction book is written from the perspective of two children who travel to Normandy on a school trip and get caught up in an amazing historical adventure.  The Year 7 pupils enjoyed the talk and were excited about purchasing a copy of the Michael's book and having it signed.
