Schools' Shooting Competition -Regional Finals

Thea (6JC), Liv (7EF) and Lulu (8JA) recently competed in the SW Regional Finals of the schools shooting competition, making up a team of 3 for Hugh Sexeys. This was a hotly competed event with 52 competitors in the Junior class.

The girls all made improvements on their previous form and after everyone had shot the team was in 3rd place, with Liv in the top 8 overall, qualifying her for the knockout final. 

The pressure went up a good few notches for the final! Liv started strongly in joint 2nd and by the end she had won the bronze medal, being just one point behind silver; we are all so proud of her. 

Liv has now qualified for the National finals, which will be held in Cannock Chase, Staffordshire on 6th Feb.
