The Hugh Sexey Equestrian Team Qualifies for Nationals!

Theo, Lulu, Jess and Hattie represented our school recently and attained fantastic results in the British Showjumping Just For Schools Direct Qualifier competition.

Jess Quick and her pony Strawberry produced a clear round in the 60cms height maintaining thier top 20 position in the national league table jumping as an individual.

The team of Hattie, Theo and Lulu won the 70cms and came 2nd (to Kings of Wessex!) in the 80cms which was enough to see them qualify at both heights and so we're off to the Championships at Stoneleigh in August! Theo also achieved places in these classes to qualify as an individual.

The children had great fun representing HSMS and really supported each other with lots of encouragement and laughter. The equestrian team has more competitions lined up and hopes to have more individual qualifications to update you with soon!
