Year 8 Boys House Rugby Matches

Many congratulations to the Normans house who were crowned house champions in rugby. The morning competition was hotly contested with fantastic physicality and skill. All of the sides played attractive and positive rugby, and it was great to see such a high level of participation and enjoyment. There were some fantastic individual performances with Jacob Ayres, Henry Flanagan, Tyler Downie and Sergio Wadey catching the eye for the Normans in the contact group. The Normans were well stocked with quality with Fraser Bruce and Harry Macinnes playing excellently in the tag tournament. It was pleasing to see the players enjoying the game with Ewan Duckett, Nathan Radford and James Ford of the Celts continuing to improve. George Nuttycombe of the Celts enjoyed a stellar competition and did his best to inspire his players. All of the players should be very proud of their efforts and I hope they continue to enjoy the game next year and beyond.
