Yr 6 Cricketers win County Finals.

Many congratulations to the year 6 cricket side who won the County Finals at Taunton Vale Cricket club. The same team narrowly lost out last year and had high aspirations of securing the title this year. The group contained Trull, South Petherton, St Saviours and Headley park. An early defeat to St Saviours in the group stages made the challenge more difficult but all of the players pulled together and they won their remaining games. Jacob Aberdeen did very well with the ball and bat and Alex Scott continued his fine form. In the final, the players pulled together and delivered an accomplished performance against Holy Trinity. Kenny Pool did very well with the bat alongside Aberdeen. Thelonious Jagger and Ollie Richards also put in a solid performance, leaving Will Creaser and Will Bougourd to see the team home. The final score being 236 for Hugh Sexey to Holy Trinity's 226. Well done to all the players involved, this includes the boys who were not selected but contributed to the high standards set by all the players.
