Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On Thursday 29th June our pupils took part in a joint concert with Blackford singers at Holy Trinity church in Blackford as part of the Bicentenary celebrations. Pupils performed with enthusiasm hitting each note perfectly. It was lovely to be part of a community event. Well done all.
On Friday 16th June pupils had a go at building their own scarecrows to join in with Blackford village Bicentenary celebrations. It was great fun and pupils enjoyed planning and seeing the end products.
The year eight sports leaders organised and ran a very happy multi skills festival for our first schools. The weather was kind and the pupils enjoyed lots of fun activities , all with skill improvement in mind . This included: hockey dribbling, rugby tackling, volleyball drills, football games and some tug of war .
This is the last festival this year and I would like to express my thanks to the year eights for their commitment and hard work . I hope it has inspired them to continue enjoying sport and the joy it brings to young people.
