5) CE N'EST PAS JUSTE! Disagreeing with someone
Today we are continuing to practise negatives.
TASK 2: Watch the video. What does Miss Kendall like, and dislike?
a) Write an answer to each of the following questions - Follow the thumbs ; they could be positive 
, or negative 
, answers!
eg Tu aimes les tomates?
- Oui, j'aime les tomates,
- Non, je n'aime pas les tomates.
- Tu aimes le fromage?
- Tu aimes le pepperoni?
- Tu aimes les oignons?
- Tu aimes les olives?
- Tu aimes les champignons?
- Tu aimes le chocolat?
- Tu aimes la pizza?
b) Now answer them for yourself!
TASK 3: Watch the video, then use it to help you write five sentences of your own.
Qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans ton frigo? et qu'est-ce qu'il n'y a pas de?
c)Have a look in your own fridge. What can you see, and what is there not!
Write five items that are not in your fridge!
eg, Dans mon frigo, il n'y a pas de lait, et il n'y a pas de panthère.
Be as silly as you like, but make sure you look up any new words in the dictionary -DON'T GUESS!
d) Make these positive phrases negative! You will need to change the words in green.
- La plage à Weston, c'est super!
- Le film, c'est ennuyeux!
- Je vais au supermarché cet après-midi, c'est intéressant!
- Quand il neige, c'est amusant!
e) Now translate the negative sentences into English.
TASK 4: Oh là là! Madame Harris is down in the dumps!
TASK 5: Translate the video into English, then write a similar dialogue of your own.
