6) LE MONDE FRANCOPHONE

L'Objectif: to know where French is spoken in the world!

French speaking countries are called 'La Francophonie'.

TASK 1: REGARDEZ!

This video shows 29 countries where French is spoken.

Find a pen or pencil and some paper.  

As you watch, write down the names of as many of the countries as you can. You can pause it if you need to!

TASK 2: CHERCHEZ

Do you know where all those countries are? 

Visit https://www.google.co.uk/maps and find out where 6 or more of these countries are. Start with the ones you don't know! Type the country into the search bar like this:

If you have a printer, you could print the world map below, and label the French-speaking countries.

Or you could open the document and add labels by adding text boxes. This can be a bit tricky! 

Otherwise, just enjoy using the interactive map, and teach yourself where the countries are - label a map in your head!  

TASK 3: FAITES DES RECHERCHES! 

Choose one of the French-speaking countries from above, and do some research to find out all about it.
