Design Technology

Hello Year 8,

 

For pupils that will be studying DT/ Food Preparation and Nutrition next year please follow these instructions: For those of you that have chosen to study DT or Food Preparation and Nutrition from Year 9 please complete the task linked the subject. For example if you are currently in Miss Latti’s class but you have chosen to Study DT then you need to complete the work set by Mrs Kemp for DT rather than the Food and Nutrition work.

 

If you have chosen not to study DT or Food Preparation and Nutrition please follow the instructions below:

 

If you are in Mrs Kemp's class please can you complete the DT tasks.

Teacher help: If you have any questions or difficulties completing a DT task you are welcome to email Mrs Kemp. Once you have completed a task you can email your work or photograph to Mrs Kemp. Thao.Kemp@hughsexey.org.uk

 

If you are in Miss Latti's class please can you complete the Food and Nutrition tasks.

Teacher help: If you have any questions or difficulties completing a Food and Nutrition task you are welcome to email Miss Latti. Once you have completed a task or cooked a recipe you can email your work or photograph to Miss Latti (DT Coordinator). Natalie.Latti@hughsexey.org.uk

 

If you do not have access to a printer tasks can be completed on plain or lined paper.

This project will focus on developing your researching, analysing, planning, cooking and evaluating skills. These skills will prove beneficial when you complete the international cuisines unit as part of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition.
