Please call the Absence line 01934 714290 or email school@hughsexey.org.uk before 9:00am on each day of your child's absence.  Please state your child's name, tutor group and reason for absence in any correspondence with the school.

Term Time Request for Absence

If you are taking term time leave (not illness or medical appointments), please complete the form via the following link Term Time Leave Request 

In line with the Department for Education regulations, term time leave will not be authorised by the school unless in exceptional circumstances.

Note

If you do take leave or holiday within term time you may receive a fixed penalty fine for each parent or carer per child of £60 until 18th August 2024. From the 19th August 2024 the fixed penalty fine will be increased to £80 per parent per child.
