Character Education

This half term pupils will be exploring the value  of Endurance through the virtues of leadership, determination, courage, patience, acceptance and journey.  They explored the story of the determination of Canadian, Rick Hansen, who became paralised after an accident.  Rick wheeled around the world raising awareness of and money for spinal cord injury research.  This session provided us with the opportunity to introduce pupils to the piece of Christian scripture chosen to represent and inspire our Hugh Sexey Church of England school - Philippian 4:13.
