Tutor Group:  Year 7 & 8

Event/Activity:   Somerset Schools Cup

On Wednesday 16th December, the year seven and eight hockey teams qualified for the finals day at MiIlfield having won their pool based at Crispin. They all chose to miss the cinema trip which sadly fell on the same day. 

Arriving at 9.30 sharp the year eight and seven played the semi final both versus rivals Fairlands. 

The year seven won their match 3-1 and therefore made it to the finals tournament. 

The year eights played really well but unfortunately Fairlands scored the winning goal in the last moments to secure their place in the finals tournament.

Year seven went onto play Sexeys, Haygrove and Bishop Fox school and won the tournament on goal difference. 

Well done to all players and to all players who have regularly attended Thursday Hockey Club.
