Busking for the Amber Trust

Busking for the Amber Trust

On Thursday 7th December, Poppy (playing the violin), Millie Jo (singing), Rosie (singing), Rosie (singing) and Matilda (playing the flute) busked in the school playground, playing christmas carols and ‘Spring’ from Vivaldi.

We were raising money for the Amber Trust, a charity that helps blind or partially sighted children through music.

They have established The Amber Music Awards which pay for music lessons, music therapy sessions, musical instruments, music software such as Sibelius, concert tickets and travel related to musical activities.

It is a great charity and we thank everyone who gave us their spare change, you have made a difference however much you gave. We are very grateful and extremely proud to support this amazing charity!

We also hope to be busking again for the Amber Trust in Wells on Sunday, weather permitting!
