Cross Country fixture vs Millfield

13 budding cross country runners from Years 7 and 8 took part in a race against Millfield at their Prep School in Glastonbury.

It was a relief that the recent heatwave had subsided just in time for this race.

Our team included four first time runners; Dawson, Henry P, Jude and Preston.

Our first two runners to complete the 2.4 kilometre course were Henry P and Dawson with Henry sprinting like Noah Lyles (or Usain Bolt if you prefer more dated references) for the final 100 metres.

It was a great effort all round from the team and great support and encouragement given to each other and also by our hosts Millfield.
