First Schools' Cross Country Events @ HSMS

This was the rescheduled cross-country event . It was nice to welcome our  year threes and fours to school. 

There were four feeder schools in this year's event - Weare, Mark, Lympsham and Wedmore. There was a year three race followed by the year fours. I was impressed with the high standard of running and every pupil gave their very best. 

Thanks to Mr Jackson for all his hard work with the results and overall motivation.  

Also, to the sports leaders who inspired and encouraged . 

Individual medals were awarded . 

The first-place cup went to Weare this year. 

I look forward to the next festival which is athletics on 14th June.
