Year 3/4 multi skills festival May 18th
The year eights have been working hard to prepare for this festival. Their role was to offer a fun, skill-based activity to the younger pupils
The weather was kind as we welcomed pupils and staff from the feeder first schools : ( roughly 120 in total)
They experienced tug of war , parachute games, rugby tackling , football goal scoring, volleyball, and an array of obstacle courses. There was the opportunity to "welly wang" too.
On this occasion , it was more about having fun and meeting other pupils from other schools. There was no winner today.
Colleagues from the first schools were full of praise for the year eight sports leaders , "kind,"
"Inspiring, "enthusiastic" "and "you should feel so proud of your pupils " were amongst the comments I received.
It was so nice to be able to offer this event after the long absence due the Covid .
Thank you for all involved for their support .
