First Schools Tag Rugby festival 12/10/17

On a glorious autumn day all the local schools came to Hugh Sexey's to compete in the tag rugby festival.

All the youngsters who participated should be very proud that they were chosen to represent their schools.  The skills and team plays showcased on the day were fantastic. It was a very close run competition, and Wedmore just won by 1 point. Congratulations to Wedmore.

The Year 8 Sports Leaders led the festival and did some coaching for the schools which didn't have a game. They took the pupils off and did some skill zones with them, to help them improve on their weak areas ready for their next game.  All the sports leaders were superb at this.

Well done to all those involved; a great day of rugby was had by all.
