Football: U13 boys Semi Final Somerset Cup vs Maiden Beech

 

 

 

Hugh Sexey welcomed Maiden Beech to play this very important match.  Hugh Sexey's won the game 2-0.

  The back four: George Gass, Ethan Streeter, Grace White and Sam Oughton defended solidly throughout the game, and Maiden Beech hardly troubled the keeper Morgan Roberts.

In midfield Alex Kemsley, Louis Bougourd, Richard Hillgrove and Seb Martin covered the entire field, playing some superb football, while Harry Banwell and Harley Wilkinson up front had plenty of service. 

The goals were scored by Harley Wilkinson with some stunning finishing.

Substitutes Jonny Callow, Charlie Starks, Odin Ward and Tom Wilcox were superb, and when they came on gave Hugh Sexey fresh legs; we are lucky we have such good quality players in our team.

 

The final is on 28th April, at Street FC. Good luck everyone
