Hinkley B Trip

This week, 30 Year 7 pupils made the first of two visits to Hinkley B Power Station.  This trip is a joint Humanities and Science trip, aimed to help pupils learn about the generation process and environmental considerations of Nuclear Energy.  The pupils were incredibly engaged, with the tour guides commenting one how insightful our pupils comments were.  The pupils were very interested in the range of jobs that will be on offer through EDF when Hinkley C becomes operational.  The second trip will go on Tuesday 11th of December, with pupils again needing to arrive at school by 8.25 am and returning in time for afternoon lessons.
