Over the past few weeks KS3 History Club have been exploring castles. They have investigated how castles change over time from wooden motte and bailey castles to stone keeps and concentric castles. History club was also tasked with analysing the strengths and weaknesses of each type of castle design as well as exploring the medieval weaponry used to attack them. This resulted in members of KS3 History Club building their own catapults and attacking the stone keep!
