HSMS Equestrian Team success at National School Equestrian Association Showjumping Competition

The school Equestrian team had their first outing of the school year last week, competing in the National School Equestrian Association Grassroots showjumping competition at Kings Sedgmoor Equestrian centre, on a very wet and cold Saturday morning.
First on in the clear round class were Phoebe and Leah Wills and Grace Evans, who all rode excellent rounds.
In the 40 cm class we had the team of Henry McCutcheon, Poppy Scriven, Phoebe Wills, Leah Wills and Grace Evans. The team all jumped brilliantly to take the 1st team spot; a fantastic result! This means that they have qualified for the national championships. Well done team! Poppy also got an individual 1st and Henry an individual 4th place.
Next, in the 50 cm competition, Grace Brazier jumped a superb clear round to come 1st and Poppy got a well deserved 3rd place.
Grace Brazier also competed in the 60 cm class and jumped another lovely clear round to come 4th against some tough competition. Well done Grace.
This was a superb achievement for this team in their first time out and we are all looking forward to lots more success!
