Mendip Hockey Matches for the Year 7 Girls

Girls year seven hockey 

Ten of our year seven girls travelled to Shepton Mallett Lesisure Centre to play in a Mendip school competition. Three schools were present : Oakfield from Frome, St Dunstans from Glastonbury and HSMS.

Our first match was against Oakfield . The girls , nervous at first, soon warmed up after Iris scored an early goal. There were some good dribbling skills from Grace on the wing and a solid performance from Leila as the sweeper - final score 1-0 to HSMS 

The second match saw captain Tilly take up the GK gloves so that Honey could see some action. The team looked more comfortable in this match and Hattie scored the winning goal. Final score 1-0 to HSMS

Hugh Sexey won overall with St.Dunstans coming second.
