Mendip Junior Cross Country League - penultimate race

Excited by the flurry of snow as we left Hugh Sexey, the realisation came shortly after arriving at Downside School that runners would have to brave near freezing conditions with an added biting wind.

We had 15 brave souls from Years 5 and 6 who did and credit to all for being up for taking part.  Finley's amazing efforts continued with another first and so still having won every race so far this season.  Katie also achieved a top five.  Mentions should also go out to Emilia whose placing improves with every race and very creditable debuts this season for Chloe, Matilda and Dennis.

The team placings for this race were 4th for the girls (out of 20 schools) and 2nd (out of 25 schools) for the boys. 

The final race of the season will be on 20th March.
