Mendip Junior Schools Cross Country League final race.

In a season with postponed and cancelled races, it seemed fitting that the course for the final one in the wonderful grounds of Downside School needed to be changed owing to fallen trees from Storm Eunice.

All our Year 5&6 runners were, as ever, up for the challenge and gave their best.

In the end of season awards that followed, Poppy S won the individual Upper Girls trophy and the Girls Upper Team won medals for achieving 2^nd out of about 20 other schools.

Though no awards for the boys this season, it was also a fantastic effort from them throughout.
