More World Book Day news:

This week, we have been thoroughly enjoying shortlisting your pupils' entries for our WBD competitions.  Mrs Dourley marked all the library book quizzes and we are delighted to announce that Olivia D (Yr5), Willow B (Yr6), Henry F (Yr7) and Alexa R (Yr8) were the overall winners in their year group, receiving a voucher.  

The MC Grammar rap quiz was won by the following tutor groups: 5OM, 6EC, 7GDA and 8CM - all received a box of chocolates to celebrate their win.

In terms of the book bunting, superhero menu and book covers with themselves included, the following pupils also won a voucher:

Year 6 winners were: Sophie H (book bunting), Grace W (superhero menu), and William E (book cover design).

In Year 7: Honeyrose W (book cover) Lexi C (bunting), and Iris S (superhero menu).

Year 8 winners were: Annabel R (book bunting), Rebecca O (superhero menu) and Matilda W-G (book cover).

Thank you to our Heads of Year for judging the final winners.

I have been so impressed with the quality and creativity of so many of the entries - we could have given so many more prizes, so thank you to all of those pupils who took the time to enter and make their entries so fantastic.
