Multiskills for Year 5s.

Yr 5 Multiskills - led by Yr 8 sports leaders.

The weather looked very ominous in the morning and I did wonder if I should postpone this event. Luckily, as you can see from the photographs the sun came out and our pupils had a very enjoyable afternoon of sports. 

The year eight sports leaders have been preparing for the first schools multi skills festival ( taking place next Wednesday 18th) and this was an opportunity for them to practise their activities. There was a vast range of sports : tug of war, football, rugby tackling, parachute games, obstacle courses, volleyball and a Hugh Sexey favourite, the Welly Wang. 

Speaking to the year fives after the event , it was clear they had had lots of fun.
