Netball Festival Yr 3 & 4

Thursday 22nd March Netball year three and four festival

It was a rather chilly and fresh afternoon but this didn't stop a great afternoon of netball. There were five teams represented- East Brent, Mark,Wedmore,Weare and a representative team from Hugh Sexey year five. After a brief discussion with staff reserve players from each school formed the "all stars"team which meant we could play three matches at any one time.

The year eight netball team umpired and coached each match with great support from staff and families.

I was impressed with the standard of play from all the youngsters - very exciting potential for the future.

Thank you to all for the hard work and commitment .

Wedmore First School were the winners of the cup . Well done.
