Rotary Club of Mendip young Writer Competition

Ellen Knight, a Year 6 pupil, entered the Junior competition of the Rotary Club writing competition and won the round, beating local schools, including Fairlands.  She had to write a short story of no more than 500 words entitled 'Our World is Beautiful'.  Her story was mature and extremely moving and has now been put through to the regional rounds.
