Schools' Shooting Championships - Wales

Last week Ferris (8KA) and Liv (6ILH) competed in the Welsh School's Pistol Shooting Championship where they attained very respectable scores.

The Welsh Championships were a completely new experience for them, with hi-tech equipment in place of the paper targets they are used to. They had to shoot into light boxes in a line-up of 24 competitors. After 20 shots Liv achieved a score of 131 and Ferris 154 which put him in 3^rd place and a 'shoot out' with the 8 highest scoring shooters.  2 shots each under command and the lowest score sat out, Ferris finished in 6^th place overall.

The next competition is the South West Champs on Friday 25^th November.  Lulu (7JA) will join Ferris and Liv for this event so that they can enter as a School team as well as individuals.
