U13 ESFA NATIONALS ROUND 3 versus WORLE - AWAY

Hugh Sexey's won 7-0 (Goal scorers - Olivia Fuller x3, Maddy Durrant x2, Freya Wills x2)

On Friday 15th November the girls U13's football team travelled to Worle school for the 3rd round of the ESFA CUP.

The girls have been working extremely hard in training preparing for this exciting fixture.

Hugh Sexey won the coin toss and chose to kick off, playing on a  massive 4g pitch which was in Hugh Sexey's favour.

From the first whistle Hugh Sexey's  were dominant, playing some great football despite the difficult wind conditions and scoring 4 goals. Some of the goals were absolutely spectacular, particularly Olivia Fuller's 20 yard screamer into the top corner!

As half time approached we were able to make some changes and try out different positions/tactics. All credit to the girls who came off the bench: Jocelyn Rigby, and Bryher Wright; they came on and made an immediate impact - all are fighting for the starting spot next round which is great to see.

Hugh Sexey's won the game by a big margin - all credit to Worle for not giving up and for keeping going.

Player of the match was Olivia Fuller for her dangerous goal scoring ability, with 8 goals to her name so far.  A special mention as well for Cerys Webb putting in a good stint in goal, retaining her third clean sheet so far, and Jemima Seagrove who is getting better every game and put in a solid display in midfield.

This was a great start to the U13s campaign. Well done girls - keep up the good work
