U13 Girls Football - Somerset Cup AWAY Bucklers Mead

Hugh Sexey's started the match very brightly, playing some superb football. 

Ella Saxon opened the scoring account after hammering home a great finish from the corner. Shortly after Maddy Durrant/Olivia Fuller both scored. Despite being 3-0 up, we were still hungry and kept the pressure on, and further goals came from Durrant to complete her hat-trick; a superb finish by Olivia Fuller to put us 6-0 up at half time.

In the second half we rang some changes and played some players out of position, which was good to see.  Further goals from Maddy Durrant, Freya Wills and Olivia Fuller meant we ended the game on 9-0.

A special mention should go to Cerys Webb for another solid display between the posts. Also to Gabby Hallett for a great game, playing as centre back.  All the girls were fabulous and played some really smart football.  Well done, keep up the good work in training and keep enjoying your school football.
