Under 13s indoor cricket tournament.

On Thursday the 3^rd of February Hugh Sexey U13 Boys travelled to St. Katherines School to play in a three team tournament against the hosts and Backwell School. The Team faced Backwell first and were first to bat. Eddie and Xavier got the team off to a great start hitting some great shots and got a good amount of runs on the board. We kept this momentum going with some great batting performances and finished the innings with 59 runs from 6 overs. Backwell required 60 to win but the teams bowling was too strong and managed to bowl them all out for a score of 39, Ethan and Fin in particular showed great skill with their bowling to help Hugh Sexey progress to the final against St.Katherines. In the final the team bowled first but a well drilled St. Katherines hit a massive 79 runs. The team couldn’t quite match the batting score but gave it a fantastic effort and finished runners up.
