Walking to the North Pole for Weston Hospital

Exercise challenge raises over £2,000 for Weston Hospital

A group of about 10 families from in and around Lympsham took on a challenge to cover the distance from Lands End to John o' Groats using their daily exercise allowance.  Having achieved this challenge (874 miles), they extended it to the North Pole making it a total of 2,756 miles from Lands End.  They "reached" the North Pole on Tuesday 28th April and have now raised over £2,000 for Weston Hospital.  The money will be used for PPE equipment.

Participants in this fantastic feat include several children from Hugh Sexey; Heidi and James from Year 6 and Ella, Emily, Finley and Sam from Year 7.
