Year 8 Sports leaders

The Year 2’s from our local feeder schools came to Hugh Sexey's today for their annual Multi Skills Festival.
The festival consists of doing different skills such as football, rugby, hockey, tennis, etc.
On this glorious day the Year 2  children loved it and had a really good time; I was very impressed by how they all got on with the activities and just kept going in this heat - they had great fun! 
The success of the afternoon was all down to our excellent Year 8 Sports Leaders, who were fabulous.  They led the warm- ups, ran the festival and delivered/coached all the sports.  More importantly they were great with the younger children and gave them lots of encouragement.

Well done everyone, it was a superb afternoon of sport.
